15-20 years ago my brother and I used to sell games and CDs through Half.com. We would go to the post office to get them shipped.
I would request "media mail" which is how Half suggested we ship things. The woman behind the desk would say they had "meedjyaa mail". At first I thought she was saying "media" slightly incorrectly.
But eventually I realized she was giving me "metered mail" and saying "metered" very incorrectly.
Oh well. I think it cost more than media mail.
But I shouldn't complain about people being hard to understand.
I talk faster than everyone else and few people understand me.
Right now I'm at Jack in the box for a bacon breakfast jack before work.
Hope to see you here.
