Love them. It doesn't happen very often here, unfortunately.

I love everything about them.
I would sit for hours as a kid outside watching the lightning and the pretty cloud patterns.

No, I hate them. Why can't it just rain quietly?

Now that would scare me to death. I'd probably need to change my drawers if I flew in that. Not to mention the turbulence might make me a little sick.

I used to love them, but now I can't help but feeling nervous when there's a bad one after my yard was struck by lightning twice in the same place and caught the yard on fire both times.
Lightning has also blown out 3 TVs, a computer, and countless other appliances over the years, so I'm always nervous about that. But I do live in Florida, so at least I'm getting the worst of it.

I love thunderstorms, provided I don't have to drive in them.

My mom said that her two sisters were sitting in a thunderstorm and the youngest kept saying "I'm not scared. I'm not scared." Then the older one left the room and came back and the younger was sitting with her fingers in her ears. She said "I'm not scared, but my fingers got scared so they jumped in my ears to hide."

We just had a little one here. Little. Puh! So lame. I like streaks of lightning and super-loud cracks of thunder!

I was in South Bend over the weekend and we had a thunderstorm that got REALLY intense! I love them and everything, but this one was starting to scare me! Lightning bolts hitting the ground, knocking out traffic signals, and hitting pretty close. My mom and I were out in the car and I started to pray. When we got back to our hotel, I stopped at the desk to make sure we weren't under any tornado warning.

I love thunderstorms! I only get worried if it's really windy since we have so many trees around. Funny I don't really worry about the trees getting struck by the lightning though.
Thunderstorms used to scare me to death, until I lived in Florida. That's where I learned to appreciate them.
