No, I don't have a dog, and that is cruel.

I don't have a dog, but if I did there is no way in hell I would do that to them. Leaving the windows cracked is not enough air for them, and cars can get pretty hot.

My boyfriend and I once bought a Siberian Husky puppy. The day he went to pick him up he had to stop at his work on his way home to pick up his pay check, he inly went in for a minute, just long enough to grab it, when he came out, our puppy was gone. Somebody obviously stole him. Later on we got another one, and never have we left him unattended in the car.

No way. Cars can get way too hot for a dog to sit in (in the summer or whatever), and there are always those stories about dogs that get stolen while left alone in cars, and I wouldn't want my dog to be at risk like that.

My dog's kinda small. I would be afraid that he'd jump out.

I ran into this yesterday. I was at a store and the car parked in front of my has two mini pincers(sp?) in there with the windows closed, so I took out my chapstick and wrote 'jackass' on the driver's side window. Those f*ckers deserved it.

We were at Wal-Mart yesterday and there was a dog left in someone's car. My husband gave him some beef jerkey...figured the poor thing had to wait in a car in the sun in a parking lot, he needed a snack! I hope that dog drooled all over the jerkey and stained the car's seats.

I very rarely leave my dog in the car, and never if it's hot. The longest I've left her is about 5 minutes, and as someone said up there ^ any longer and she'd chew the car up.

^They are a really good dog, but just way to hyper in their younger years. My Alpine would drive me insane with his unending energy.

So he can get out and run around if he's too hot.
