Yes. (by the way, this isn't really the type of question to rack in a ton of comments, but comments are nice anyway, so consider this one :)

Yes! I love the 4th of July! Hot dogs and watermelon and fireworks! Only Christmas is better!

No, I don't really celebrate it. And it's so depressing, because as you can guess, almost everyone here in the US does. They have these huge barbecues, all these annoying little kids waving American flags, and the fireworks. And I stay cooped up at home.

Usually I just watch Independence Day and set off some fireworks, but last year I was in Ireland over the 4th of July, so I didn't do anything to celebrate it.

You could re-state the question as "Are you from the United States" - it would be the same question.

Why should I? I celebrate it as much as the 23rd of September, which has no relevance to anything I know about.

Yeah, this year I plan to run in the annual ten-mile race in the northern Michigan town we will be vacationing in for the second (of many to come) straight year. I've never run that far before, and I haven't run competitively since high school track, where I only ran the 800, but I'm going to do it.

Yes, I have every year since I was a child. I am as critical of the US as the next guy, but the 4th of July is a tradition I will always celebrate in some way.
