There are 12 new food pyramids to go by dependind on your age, gender, and amount of physical activity. It seems pretty helpful. Lots of customizable things and more stuff to work with than the old pyramid.

Heh. They expect me to drink 3 cups of milk PER DAY?! They're joking, right? We go through enough milk in my family just with cereal, coffee, and my sister's chocolate milk. I couldn't AFFORD to eat like they say....

i don't really like the way it's set up...it looks kinda cheesy.

They tell you to bulk up on grains, veggies, and fruits, but it's meat that actually builds up your body. Grains are great for energy (I *love* oatmeal), and fruits and veggies are necessary for the vitamins they provide, but don't discount meat, especially you teenagers out there.

The one thing that I agree PARTIALLY with them is on fats. Avoid the bad fats (transfats), and eat the good fats (omega3 and omega6) carefully. A mulitvitamin regimen wouldn't hurt, either.

I saw this on the news the other day. It's really kind of special when you live to see the day they redo the food pyramid.

ok i am not going to only eat breads and fruts! are they trying to kill me? i dont know i think it is a new way to try to take over the world but that is just me lol! (i am kind of parinoid)
