This is seriously one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. Taking idioms from other languages and translating them in a painfully literally way is one of my favourite things to do, so this speaks to me on a deep level.

I love literalism. I do this kind of stuff with my kids all the time. It's usually good for a laugh.
Though in our case it's not taken from other languages. There's plenty in the English language to have fun with though. |
