Japan Earthquake and Tsunami from Inside a Car

On onboard camera inside a car catches the magnitude 9 earthquake, and the ensuing tsunami. The driver survived.

Is the person in that car just talking and sh*t? Calmly? That's what it sounds like under the louder voice. F*cking heart of a land shark, that guy.

I could only watch the first two minutes then I started to get upset. I never underestimated the seriousness of the tsunami, but watching the video really put it in perspective. You see the cars drifting away and you realize that these are people trapped inside. It's just so sad.

The voice in the car is the radio. For some reason the driver's voice isn't heard. He was probably too shocked to speak.

I'm guessing the driver exited the vehicle before the water got too high and left his camera in there.

The narrator says that he thinking of when to leave the vehicle. He is still in the vehicle when the car hits the building at the end.

Oh damn -__- That's just terrifying.

I've visited some of the places hit by the tsunami. It's amazing how quickly people are getting back on their feet, but it's an eerie feeling being somewhere where you know so many people died.
