Totally did it!
Except I did not have a car registered or dental work done.
Very sad though.

there should be a choice that says "suck it up, brat"

Finished with $56, but definitely didn't win. My kid has no friends, he probably hates me, my cat got put to sleep and my typing skills suck, apparently.

Where are the other options?

If rent was eating all my money, I'd move in with my mom/cousin/friend for a year at about $200/month and save up.

If gas was to expensive, I'd use public transportation to get to work.

If I couldn't avoid food, I'd apply for food stamps.

And if my child was asking for name brand shoes, and threatening not to eat lunch, I'd tell him/her to get a job.

You assume there is somebody willing and able to take you in, and that public transportation happens to be reliable and available at your location.

If there is no one available to take you in, maybe you should look for housing that is near a bus or train. On days where one or both are having problems, then drive your car.

It's not easy to survive on limited funds, but the point is there are more options then this "game" is giving. But I understand the purpose is to lose and feel bad and donate.

I had to give my pet away to the animal shelter :( :(

I didn't complete it, being US oriented made it irrelevant.

How about this game for depressing.

Finished with $318 and a $175 IOU. That was kinda depressing. Reminded me of The Pursuit of Happyness.

$593 and an unpaid cell phone bill lingering.
