Rockstar is far from the first game company to use this technology. Valve used it in the Left 4 Dead games and Bioware used it in Mass Effect, and unlike Rockstar they actually did a good job on the rest of the graphics, as well.
This looks like a cool game with great potential, but I'm starting to think Rockstar is simply incapable of making anything other than faces look realistic. |
