Although his part at the beginning of Jurassic Park is only a few seconds long, this kid always annoyed me whenever I saw him.

I couldn't agree more, something about that kid just makes me want to hurt something.
But I also second that Dakota Fanning isn't annoying, that version of War of the Worlds just sucked in every aspect.
