I'd live in it. Like he said, I'd rather put the money towards things I like to do. |

I could totally live in that house.
It's not much smaller than the place I'm currently living. |

The bathroom IS the shower, there's a showerhead on the ceiling.
I went to the site. |

I think that's really cool.
My uncle, who is very well-off financially, decided two years ago to buy an extremely run-down ~30'x15' houseboat (there was NOTHING except four walls and the base of the boat) and rebuild it from scratch. Now he's living entirely on the boat and has done a fantastic job rebuilding it, it's very comfortable. I've stayed on it overnight quite a few times and, while it's hard to adjust to the tiny living space, there are very few real sacrifices to it.
I've really come to admire him for his complete lack of a desire to build the biggest, cushiest house he can despite having the money to do so. And as he is always pointing out, he has a mortgage free house that he can transport to any city with ocean access. That's a pretty good deal. |
