They didn't mention the suffocation effect from crucifixion. The weight of your body being pulled towards the ground with your arms held out at your sides makes it very hard to breathe. Not only are you exposed to the elements without food or water, but you're slowly suffocating for days.

While I have no first hand experience (obviously), I disagree with the guillotine being on there. As far as I'm concerned, being guillotined would have been a blessing compared to some of the beheadings I've read about throughout history. Beheading should be on the list, but the other kind, with the dull axe or the knife.

I'd rather be a live, detached head for a few seconds than die the way Margaret Pole did.
