so much for 'digging to China' huh? is that really a common phrase in America?
Digging from England gets you into the sea off the east coast of New Zealand (I always thought it would be Australia when I was little) and digging from Korea gets you just off the coast of Argentina. |

Everyone I know growing up thought they could dig to China anyway.

'digging to China' is a common phrase in Germany too. But of course I'd end up in the Pacific ocean a couple of hundred miles east of New Zealand too  |

Looks like the only places to end up on land from the United States is Hawaii(Botswana) and the northern tip of Alaska(Antarctica..brrrrr) |
