That's pretty cool. It must have been so amazing back then to see colour photos for the first time, that hadn't been hand coloured.

So why are all old paintings in color when they just started color photos in the late 1800's? JUST KIDDING.

No really, this was pretty neat.

Very pretty, but I would like to see more reliable documented information. The Russian set look far too crisp.

The very last one could easily be in Iraq or somewhere now, I could easily see the pic on the news websites. And Hitler, gosh he looks nice, I always thought he was green skinned and had purple hair! My bad!

The last one can't be iraq because they aren't in desert camo. But it does look like it's from a movie or something.

And I don't know if it's because these all looked a little too good to be true, or if it's because I've known about color being put into black and whites for at least 4 years, but none of these really 'wowed' me.

Question is are these real...I can easily add color to a black and white photo. Leaves to open photoshop.

Colour photography was invented in the 1930's so some of them have to be fake, the WW2 could be real but more than likely photoshopped

I loved old pictures, but I guess thats because I love history.

-Colour photography was invented in the 1930's so some of them have to be fake, the WW2 could be real but more than likely photoshopped-

....the whole point is that they ARE photoshopped. They were black and white, now they're in color.

This is amazing

I said it for the benefit of those that thought they were real, you dont fall into that category so keep your comments to yourself
